How to glue wallpaper?

Before applying new wallpapers to the wall, you need to remove the old first. To do this, with the help of a wet sponge, the old wallpaper moisturize (this can be done with the help of a spray gun), and then with a scraper are removed. A good way to remove the wallpaper is the processing of their steam. After steam processing on all walls, a needle roller is carried out.

This allows steam and moisture to penetrate deeper. After removing the wallpaper, the wall is washed. Before applying a new coating, the wall must be cleaned of nails, screws, and all cracks are covered with putty and then treated with a primer.

Wallpaper before applying on the wall must be cut, this means that the floor needs to be prepared (washed, tightened). Under the cut wallpaper, clean paper should be put so that the wallpaper does not get dirty. Then you need to apply glue on the canvas. Depending on the type of wallpaper, the glue is applied once or twice. If the glue is heated, then it will go more evenly.

A special marking is applied on the wall and pieces of wallpaper must be glued relative to it. Start the window. The glued canvas should be smoothed with a dry brush, or a roller, or a clean rag. You need to smooth down from top to bottom and from the center to the edges. It is necessary to ensure that bubbles do not appear under the wallpaper. This stage should be carefully carried out. The external final appearance depends on the quality of smoothing and how long the wallpaper will stay on the wall.

Wallpaper without a drawing can immediately be cut into the number of strips. If you need to select the drawing, then do not rush to cut them, but you need to cut each separate strip separately. Do not throw pieces. They can be used above and under the window, door, radiator or in niches.
